What's the big deal about "Casual Friday"? At the place I work, we get to wear blue jeans, t-shirts, and tennis shoes. We see a suspension of the dress code which is not that strict anyway (business casual) . In telemarketing, you don't have a dress code, would we like to be telemarketers? At low-paying, menial jobs we can wear whatever we want.
So why do we gripe about the dress code which makes us look professional, which in turn allows us to be a successful business, which allows us to be paid more? Why do we want to cease looking like professionals on Friday, so we can dress like we work at a car wash. It doesn't make any sense to me. I wore a t-shirt to work. Why? I don't know.
